Rosey Acres Winery opened October 1, 2005, Located 6 miles east of Des Moines on highway 163 and 3 miles south. We are a small winery operated on a 1 acre vineyard which was planted in 2003 and added to in 2005. The winery makes 10 different varieties of wine ranging from seasonal fruit wines to several grape wines, all fermented and hand bottled on sight. We have a tasting room open to the public and wine is sold on sight, as well as being in several local area grocery and gift stores. The wines we make are mostly from Iowa grown grapes and fruit, which is either grown on the property or purchased from area vineyards. We specialize in wines ranging from very light, fruity style wines to several red wines. Rosey Acres is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday 11 am -5 pm March thru October; from 11:00 am thru 4:00 pm November thru December 31.
